We are only about three hours away from Tallahassee, Florida...the home of Florida State University. When Nathan heard that Oklahoma was coming to play there on September 18th, he tried like crazy getting tickets so we could go. He was able to get tickets with a friend and so we drove down and attended the game. Oklahoma won 23-13 and it was a great game! Excitement until the very end! The game started at 8PM so it was a very long night...we came home after the game, leaving there at midnight and not getting home until after 3AM. Thankfully we have great babysitters, sisters (one in college and one in high school) who stayed with the kids overnight.
It was SO HOT! I was burning up so this picture of me is horrible!
We walked in with the band!
The stadium is really nice. It was a packed house with OU just having a small section of course. It was amazing to hear all the FSU fans do the thing they do with their hands and yell out their chant. It got old quick though...I was doing that chant in my sleep for days! I do have to say, their fans are very cordial and nice...not like Texas fans for sure! ;)
We had such a great time, doing something we both love...just the two of us.
