Visiting Gramma Alice

Since we were so close in Montana, we drove over to Wolf Point to see Nathan's gramma Alice.  She's 98 years old!  We enjoyed getting to visit with her.
Before we got to Glacier, we visited Devils Tower Wyoming. Even though we lived in Wyoming for a few years and both kids were born there, we never got up there to see it. We were so glad we were able to this trip. We walked all the way around it, about a mile and a half and enjoyed it for sure. Seth loved posing for the camera this particular trip. :)

Cute little prairie dogs!

Spokane, WA

While we were at Glacier, Nathan and I decided to drive over the couple of hours to Spokane, Washington. Nathan spent part of his childhood here and he loves the city. They have the neatest carousel downtown and you can also ride in these little sky cars to view the city. They also have a neat park.

Glacier National Park

For our vacation, we took a 5,000 mile road trip to Glacier National Park, Montana. We had a blast staying in a cozy, little cabin in the woods, hiking in the mountains ,and seeing all the different wildlife there. It was in mid June and snowing! The temperature averaged 35 degrees!

These are the Glacier tour buses...so cute!
Seth got a mustache at the candy store.

Day with the Brownings

On our vacation, we had to stop by and see our best friends, the Brownings. We had a fun time staying a couple of days with them. Even though we've moved away from them, time doesn't seem to matter and we can end up right where we left off. Those are the best kind of friends.

End of 3rd Grade and 5th Grade Years (brag alert!)

Jonathan and Seth had such great 3rd and 5th grade years. They both got such wonderful teachers. Both boys had Straight As all year! We are so proud of their hard work. Jonathan is moving up to Middle School and it makes me sad. He's grown and changed so much. His elementary career just flew by. At least Seth has two more years.
Jonathan's in the very back.  You can see a little of his blonde head, in the back towards the left.  These are the students that made the President's List all through their elementary career.
Jonathan and his buddy, JR.  Their names were called for Straight As all year.
Jonathan receiving his 5th grade diploma from his principal, Dr. Doug Rizer.
Jonathan and his 5th grade teacher, Ms. Jackson.  Jonathan is sure going to miss her.
Jonathan's graduation gift from us.  He made straight As every single report card!  So proud of him!
Seth's 3rd grade best friends.
Jonathan received a President's award with Outstanding Academic Excellence since he made straight As every year.
A note from President Barack Obama.

Seth and one of his best friends, Noah.
The whole gang!  These boys are SO CLOSE.  I heard a rumor they will all be together next year in 4th grade!!
Seth's amazing, fabulous, awesome, wonderful, sweet best ever 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Lee. Seth LOVES her and will miss her so much too.
